Admissions
A Child’s Place has year round rolling admissions.
We enroll children based on availablity. All parents interested
in enrolling their child should contact
the school directly to make an appointment for
a tour of the school. Tours are available for parents/guardians
5 Days a week from 11AM-6PM.
When you request a tour your family will be invited to meet
with a supervisor or director to tour the school. At this
time you will be invited to ask all of your questions regarding
the care of your child. We will take the time to explain the
entire registration process and give parents/guardians all
the paper work needed to register. All children will need
a medical form filled out by their doctor before they will
be admitted to the center.
Children ages 2 months through pre-kindergarten must sign
up for a year round slot. All students must reregister annually,
each September. All parents will be required to pay an annual
registration fee. A free registration period is conducted
each year from March 15- April 15 for September Tuition and
from April 15- May 15 for Summmer
Camp registration.
When parents/guardians have made the decision to enroll their
child in A Child’s Place we ask that they complete paper
work and schedule a sit-in. A sit-in gives the parent/guardian
and their child, the opportunity to sit-in the classroom before
the child begins the program. Many children have not attended
school before or have anxiety when leaving their loved ones.
Therefore, we feel that it is necessary for children to visit
the class and their teacher on the Friday before their start
date. Parents/Guardians are invited to sit in the classroom
with their child or they can leave the child for up to 30
minutes. This will give the child the opportunity to interact
with their new classmates for a short period of time without
having to stay the entire day. Sit-in’s give each child
the opportunity to understand the concept that their loved
one’s will only leave for a period of time and they
will return to pick them up. We hope that this will ease the
transition of beginning a new program. We request that parents
not ask questions to the teacher during this time. Parents/guardians
will be given a sit-in sheet where they can record their questions
to be answered by a supervisor at the completion of their
sit-in.
