A Few Words From Our Directors.

A Child's Place is a school for all children. We are a community based organization which brings a world of activities, core education and caring into our neighborhood. Through this program we try hard to work with parents, their children and their childcare needs.

As directors, we do our best to help the teachers create a loving and nurturing environment for all the children. We want our children to realize that teachers are here to help them learn to make the world a better place to live in.

When our children begin at A Child's Place, their minds are open and they are not sure what to take in. But, when they leave A Child's Place we hope that we have succeeded in strengthening their voices, bodies and minds. They should be able to express their feelings and control them. We hope that we will give them the tools to explore all that is near and embark on journeys afar, but most of all we strive to teach them how to love who they are.

We use a program called SMART Tuition in our school, which collects all the tuition and fees that the parents pay. Going through SMART Tuition allows our staff to work hard on other areas of our program and provide the best in services to all our families.

A Child's Place needs everybody to pull together for the best for our children and we need to support our children and listen to what they have to say. We had a difficult beginning, with all the barriers and red tape that we had to break through to make this happen. It is through PARENT TO PARENT COMMUNICATION that A Child's Place has grown.

As Dr. Seuss said it best ".You'll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You'll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up your right foot from your left. AND WILL YOU SUCCEED? YES!
