A Typical Day

Daily Schedule

Camp Day

Daily activities include sports, arts & crafts, swimming, nature walks, organized games, and more. Pool twice a week, trips once a week.

After Camp

Extended care available from 3:00–6:00 PM at the Academy location (75-01 31st Ave., East Elmhurst).

$125/week

Includes transportation to the site

All campers must be picked up by 6:00 PM

Camp Groups & Divisions

Camp is divided into Upper Camp (older campers) and Lower Camp (younger campers). Within each, campers are placed into “Divisions” — small groups of 15–20 campers based on age and preferred gender. Each Division has a Division Leader, Head Counselor, Junior Counselors, and C.I.T.s. Your child's designated Division and Counselors are visible in the ProCare App.

What to Bring Daily

LABEL EVERYTHING with your child's name

Every Day

  • Sneakers and socks (NO flip flops, sandals, or crocs)
  • Backpack with name and division labeled on the INSIDE
  • Change of clothes including socks (water activities)
  • Refillable water bottle (no juice or soda — they dehydrate)
  • Snacks in labeled bag (lunch is provided)
  • Sunscreen and bug spray if needed
  • ACP Fresh Camp T-Shirt (required daily)

Pool Days

In addition to daily items

  • Bathing suit worn under clothes
  • Dry clothes to change into
  • Towel
  • Dry bag or ziploc for wet clothes
  • Water shoes (optional)

DO NOT send electronic devices or toys. ACP Fresh is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Tip: freeze water bottles the night before!

Bus Zones

Zones covering Queens. If outside a zone, families can meet the bus at a pickup point or at either camp location. Call (347) 801-2375 for info if not in a zone.

Bus Rules

  • All campers need a signed transportation form
  • Bus counselors on route most days at predesigned stops
  • Have camper ready 15 minutes before anticipated pickup time
  • Seatbelts required, remain seated, no eating on bus
  • Estimated arrival times provided for your home
  • Be patient calling about bus issues — driver must stop safely first

Inappropriate behavior on the bus may result in cancellation of transportation service.

Meals & Snacks

NUT FREE CAMP

No peanut butter, Uncrustables, Nutella, or peanut butter crackers. All known allergies must be documented in writing.

Swimming

Pool twice a week — see camp calendar for specific days.

Jefferies Gardens Pool

Bayside — Outdoor

  • • Pool depth: 2–8 feet, floating line after 4 feet
  • • Licensed lifeguards on duty at all times
  • • Free swim time with all counselors in pool
  • • Organized games: Marco Polo, swim races

St. Sebastian's

Woodside — Indoor (Fridays)

  • • Indoor swimming pool
  • • Gym time with organized sports and games
  • • Climate-controlled facility

Safety First

  • • Swimming skills assessment required for all campers
  • • Groups assigned based on strength and ability
  • • Flotation devices welcome (labeled with camper's name)
  • • Lightning on pool day = pool cancelled, no makeup day

C.I.T. Program

Counselor in Training • Ages 14 & 15

Previous campers ages 14–15 can join our Counselor in Training program and learn skills for possible future work as a camp counselor. C.I.T.s develop leadership, teamwork, communication, management, and cooperation skills.

Getting Started

What's Next?

ACP Fresh is paperless — registration forms are emailed, signed online, and emailed back. All forms must be filled out prior to the first day of camp. Here's your parent checklist:
